A conceptual view of the implemented workflow, without exposing private staff or customer records. It does not represent verified live data movement.
The build
Designed around
the experience.
Separate from Magpie’s public website, this staff application is built around the work behind a bakery order. Front of house, kitchen, and managers have different working views. The implementation brings orders, pickup dates, quantities, and handoff states into a shared product structure; it is not presented as a live production rollout.

The details make the difference.
- 01
A date-based view of the day
The Today interface organizes orders by date with acknowledgement and ready, picked up, unpaid, and attention states. The view is designed around the practical work of preparing for a pickup.
- 02
Order entry for the counter and phone
The implemented entry flow includes product variants, quantities, notes, and pickup-time selection. It is distinct from the public storefront and its customer shopping experience.
- 03
Kitchen quantities and pickup lists
Production tallies show ordered, completed, and remaining quantities. Browser-print pickup lists support a handoff outside the screen, while manager views include catalog, exports, settings, and operations status.
- 04
Shopify-related implementation with clear gates
The source includes order-reading and webhook-verification code. Store installation, hosted configuration, pickup mapping, and scheduled operation still require verification; the existence of code does not establish live synchronization.
Scope & status
What this project demonstrates.
Implementation preview, explicitly not approved for live holiday orders. No live Shopify synchronization, payment or refund processing, delivered reminders, or fulfillment write-back is claimed. Manual payment entries record transactions handled elsewhere. Private staff screens are intentionally not shown.
