Client campaign results reported by FXXK Agency. Order value is the estimated gross value of coupon redeemed orders (550+ orders at an average of about $200). It is not profit, and it is not independently verified incremental revenue; some redemptions may have come from existing customers.

How the campaign worked

A physical offer, a counted redemption.

Direct mail did a job paid social cannot do for a dispensary: put a specific reason to visit into the hands of nearby adults, then measure the response at the register.

  1. 01

    Target the surrounding market

We planned and executed a targeted physical direct mail campaign to reach customers in HudHaus’s surrounding market.

  2. 02

Put a reason to visit in their hands

20,000 mailers carrying a redeemable promotional offer were designed, printed, and distributed.

  3. 03

    Redeem at checkout

Customers brought the offer into the dispensary and redeemed it during checkout, which made each response countable.

  4. 04

    Count what came back

In the first month, more than 550 orders redeemed the offer, at an average order value of around $200.

Reading the numbers honestly

Gross order value is not profit.

The headline figure multiplies 550+ redeemed orders by an average order value of about $200. It measures customer spending associated with the offer, which is what a campaign like this is designed to move.

What the numbers are

  • Coupon redeemed orders counted at checkout
  • Estimated gross order value: redemptions × average order value
  • First month results of one campaign, reported by FXXK Agency

What they are not

  • Profit or net return on investment
  • Independently verified incremental sales
  • A forecast of results for another business

Derived figures: about $1.00 of campaign investment per mailer, about $36 of campaign cost per redeemed order, and a redemption rate of about 2.75 percent.

Building the brand from zero

More than one channel, working as one system.

HudHaus opened in August 2024 as North Bergen’s first recreational cannabis dispensary, according to local press coverage. FXXK Agency supported the brand from its early stages, building its social media presence from a new account with no established audience.

Consistent short form content, professional video, and campaign creative gave people a reason to follow and visit. Meta advertising supported brand awareness and customer acquisition, developed to operate within Meta’s advertising policies and New Jersey’s rules for licensed cannabis businesses.

Direct mail then reached nearby customers in a way feed ads cannot for this category, and the offer turned attention into counted visits.

Instagram growth

Built from a new account

The audience was grown from zero alongside the store’s launch. The current follower count will be shown here once confirmed.

Advertising in a regulated category

Meta’s policies do not allow ads that promote or offer the sale of THC products, and New Jersey restricts where licensed cannabis businesses may advertise. We planned within those limits rather than around them. No account approval is ever guaranteed.

Physical acquisition, connected to everything else.

The same approach can suit dispensaries, retailers, franchise operators, restaurants, and local service businesses with a defined market and a countable offer. Results differ by business; we plan and measure every campaign on its own terms.

HudHaus questions

The campaign, in plain answers.

What did FXXK Agency do for HudHaus?

FXXK Agency built HudHaus’s marketing from its early stages: overall strategy and execution, Meta advertising, social media growth and management, professional video and short form content, creative development, promotional strategy, a targeted direct mail campaign, and campaign measurement. The engagement was the marketing side of a full business overhaul; it did not include a custom operations portal.

What did the HudHaus direct mail campaign produce?

As reported by FXXK Agency, the $20,000 campaign distributed 20,000 mailers with a redeemable offer. In the first month, more than 550 orders redeemed the offer at checkout, at an average order value of about $200, for an estimated $110,000+ in redeemed order value. That is a redemption rate of about 2.75 percent and about 5.5 times gross order value relative to campaign spend.

Is the $110,000 figure profit or return on investment?

No. It is the estimated gross value of orders that redeemed the campaign offer (redemptions multiplied by the average order value). It does not subtract product cost, discounts, taxes, or operating costs, and it is not independently verified incremental revenue. Some redemptions may have come from customers who would have visited anyway.

How was the campaign measured?

Each mailer carried a redeemable promotional offer. Customers brought it to the dispensary and redeemed it during checkout, so redemptions could be counted at the point of sale and multiplied by the average order value to estimate order value.

Can dispensaries advertise on Meta?

Only within narrow limits. Meta’s advertising policies do not allow ads that promote or offer the sale of THC or psychoactive cannabis products, and ad approval is never guaranteed. HudHaus’s Meta campaigns were developed to operate within platform policies and applicable rules, with direct mail, social content, and local presence doing work that paid social cannot.

Could a direct mail campaign work for my business?

Possibly. Direct mail tends to suit businesses with a defined local market, a clear offer, and a way to count redemptions, such as dispensaries, retailers, restaurants, franchise locations, and home service companies. Results depend on the audience, offer, creative, timing, and market; HudHaus’s numbers are not a forecast for any other business.
