The beginning

Before the big events, there was a group of college kids with a vision.

212 Group started small: a few college students making party content and promoting events out of a dorm room. No venue deals, no festival, no big lineup. Just phones, ideas, and a sense of what their crowd wanted.

They experimented with social media, learned what made people show up, and started building a nightlife community in New York City one event at a time.

Lucas Mora got involved during that early growth, when the account had about 6,000 followers. The team kept making the content. Lucas helped shape it and put paid media behind it, so more of the right people saw it and more of them bought tickets.

The idea was simple: turn attention into followers, followers into interested attendees, and interested attendees into ticket purchases.

The marketing challenge

Grow the brand and sell this week’s event, at the same time.

A nightlife company needs two things that pull in different directions: an audience that grows over months, and ticket sales that have to happen before a specific date.

Reaching the right New Yorkers

A city of millions, and only a slice of it goes out on the nights you are throwing a party.

Awareness for every single event

Each event is its own launch, with its own date, lineup, and reason to come.

Anticipation before tickets drop

Attention has to build before sales open, not start the day of.

Engagement that turns into purchases

Likes and views are easy. Getting someone to buy a ticket is the hard part.

Traffic onto the event page

The ticket page has to be one tap away from the content that sparked interest.

Finishing checkout

People who choose tickets still need a reason to complete the purchase.

Brand and event, at the same time

Growing the account long term while selling the next event this week.

The FXXK Agency strategy

Turning attention into ticket purchases.

Content the team created, amplified with paid media, and pointed at one action.

Objective 01

Audience growth

Reach new people, increase exposure, and give them a reason to follow 212 Group, so every future event starts with a bigger crowd.

Objective 02

Ticket conversion

Move potential attendees from Meta ads directly to the event page, where they could choose tickets and buy.

The workflow

  1. 01

    Develop and select the content

Choose the event promotion content with the most pull: Reels, flyers, and video from the team, shaped for paid distribution.

  2. 02

    Run Instagram and Facebook campaigns

Launch Meta campaigns around each event and around the brand itself.

  3. 03

    Reach relevant audiences

Use paid media to put the content in front of people across New York City who were likely to care.

  4. 04

Send interest to the event page

Direct the people who tapped straight to the event landing page.

  5. 05

    Move visitors toward checkout

Keep the path from the page to ticket selection and checkout short.

  6. 06

    Learn and adjust

Use what each campaign showed to make better decisions for the next event.

The ticket funnel, stage by stage

Select a stage to see what has to happen there. 212 Group sold tickets through its own event pages; FXXK Agency did not build or own the ticketing platform.

Stage 1 of 5 / Ad creative

Stop the scroll

A Reel, flyer, or short video that makes the event feel worth leaving the house for. The creative carries the date, the energy, and a clear reason to tap.

Attention: whether people stop, watch, and tap.

Content and creative direction

Content earns the attention. Paid media decides who sees it.

212 Group made its content internally from the start, and that instinct for what their crowd wanted was the raw material. Lucas helped with the content and the advertising: which pieces to push, how to shape them for paid distribution, and where to send the people they reached.

The paid campaigns amplified the event promotions beyond the existing followers and pointed every view at the next step: the event page and the ticket.

Event promotion content

Content built around a specific date, lineup, and venue, so every post points at a night out.

Instagram Reels

Short, high energy video that earns attention organically and works as paid creative.

Event flyers

The essentials at a glance: who, where, when, and how to get in.

Video advertising

Recaps and teasers that show the crowd and the energy people are buying into.

Holding attention

Strong first seconds, clear branding, and a reason to keep watching.

Building excitement

Announcements, countdowns, and lineup reveals that build toward the ticket drop.

A clear call to action

Every piece ends with one action: get tickets.

Media pending approvalEvent Reels, flyers, and campaign creative will appear here once 212 Group approves their reuse. Nothing shown on this page is a recreation of a real campaign.

The evolution of the brand

From dorm room content to a recognizable NYC events brand.

FXXK Agency worked with the group during stage two. Everything after that is the team’s own momentum.

  1. Stage 01

College students with a camera and a plan

A small group of college students start making party content and promoting events from their dorm room, building a following one post at a time.

  2. Stage 02With FXXK Agency

Early audience development and event advertising

Around 6,000 followers. Lucas Mora runs Meta advertising, supports content, and sends interested people into ticket funnels while the team keeps creating.

  3. Stage 03

    A recognizable NYC events brand

The team keeps building on its own momentum, with themed parties, artist nights, and a growing community across the city.

  4. Stage 04

    Bigger productions

Yacht parties, Halloween series, themed raves, and festival involvement, including backing Lost Together Festival’s debut in Brooklyn in August 2025, according to Envert Media.

  5. Stage 05

    Today: about 43.9K followers

A verified Instagram account with about 43.9K followers, observed November 6, 2026, still promoting and organizing events across New York City.

In their words / POSH University

“Retargeting is key—most ticket sales happen in the last 48 hours, so hit them again right before the event.”

Malcolm Charles, cofounder of 212 Group, quoted by POSH in its guide to paid ads for events. His advice and results are his own, not FXXK Agency’s.

212 Group questions

The story, in plain answers.

What did FXXK Agency do for 212 Group NYC?

During 212 Group’s early growth, Lucas Mora ran Instagram and Facebook advertising for audience growth and for event ticket sales, supported promotional content and creative direction, and planned paid promotion around event launches. The campaigns sent interested people to the event pages where tickets were sold. FXXK Agency did not build 212 Group’s website, ticketing platform, software, or AI systems.

How much did 212 Group’s Instagram grow?

The account had about 6,000 followers during the early collaboration, as reported by Lucas Mora. On November 6, 2026, @212groupnyc showed about 43,900 followers, roughly 7.3 times the earlier audience. That growth belongs to the brand and its team over several years; it is not presented as the result of FXXK Agency’s advertising alone.

Why are there no ticket sales, ad spend, or ROAS figures?

Because we only publish numbers we can support. Historical Meta Ads Manager reports for the campaigns have not been published, so this page shows no spend, ticket counts, revenue, conversion rates, or return on ad spend. Those figures will be added if verified campaign reports become available.

How do Meta ads sell event tickets?

Ads put event creative in front of people likely to attend, then send the people who tap to an event page where they choose tickets and check out. Reach builds awareness and followers; conversion campaigns focus on the people most likely to buy. Measuring purchases back to the ads shows which creative and audiences deserve more budget for the next event.

Is 212 Group still growing?

212 Group continues to promote and organize events across New York City, including artist nights, yacht parties, themed events, and festival work. Public coverage describes its backing of Lost Together Festival’s 2025 debut in Brooklyn, led by cofounder Malcolm Charles.
